About Us

Dealing with the climate crisis of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Climate change could be irreversible by 2030. According to a report conducted by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), urgent action is needed to avoid the catastrophic effects of global warming. Without change, the world's coral reefs could be completely eradicated, and we could see an increase in widespread flooding, extreme heat, drought and poverty. Youth Climate Awareness Collective emerged out of a pursuit to inspire young people and future climate leaders while also supporting the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 2021, we’re an organisation that seeks to try and help by providing free zoom classes, donation portals with supported charities, impactful fundraising schemes, and social projects we can implement in our community. We want to educate at least one child from every borough in London, raise enough money through donations to support this project, raise a substantial amount of money for a charity with a similar mission, and finally create a social project in our community to create a sustainable green environment for the future.  Contact us to learn more and get involved.
